Earrings | Sturt's Desert Pea Amphora Drops
These statement amphora earrings have been hand-built with mid-fire clay, painted with underglazes, and then fired to high temperatures.
They are glazed on the front and I’ve used sterling silver findings to make sure that they are suitable for even the most sensitive ears. They are only a couple of mm thick so they are incredibly light and easy to wear all day.
This listing is for ONE pair of drop earrings.
Measures approximately 4 cm wide and 8 cm long.
Please note: These earrings are entirely handmade and as is the case with anything made by a person and not a machine, they may have slight imperfections and irregularities. Each pair has been made with a lot of love and is slightly different to the next. To make sure they stand the test of time, treat they with care.
With use, you may notice some discolouration on the back since it is unglazed. To clean use a small amount of toothpaste or warm soapy water and pat dry. Do not soak.
Amphora 1 refers to the long, straight-sided vessel (as worn by Erin in the second photo) and Amphora 2 is the curvy vessel in the third photo.
